Pioneer Clubs Schedule of Special Events for Winter and Spring 2012

 Special Events:

Outreach to Nursing Homes

Delivery date: February 12, 2012

Location:   Ohio Valley Manor, Ripley, Ohio

Children are in the process of making their Valentine gifts for the residents of Ohio Valley Manor.

We are collecting small bottles of lotion, shampoo, shaving cream, razors, combs, emory boards,

small packs of tissues and any other items you think would be useful to the residents. We are also

collecting wrapped Valentine candy including sugar free. Please bring your donations to the church on

Feb. 5th. Collection box in the foyer.

Bird House Construction

The Trailblazer group will soon begin working on a bird house. This group is young people from

4th-6th grades.

Chris Sratton has agreed to be our "carpenter" instructor.

Serving in The Church

In May our children will join the Prime Timers in cleaning up around the new church and helping with the

landscape work.

Children from three years to sixth grade are welcome to be members of Pioneer Clubs, including children

from our surrounding community.

REGULAR MEETING SCHEDULE:

Sunday evenings during the school year from 6:00-7:30PM.    

Exception: No meetings 4th Sundays - reserved for a night with family.

LOCATION:  CHURCH BASEMENT 

  • For children age three through sixth grade. 
  • Pioneer Clubs are a learning and service club.
  • Pioneer Clubs teach children about our Lord, our faith, our church, 
  • and about serving God and neighbor.
  • Pioneer Clubs teach children to share with others.
  • Pioneer Clubs is open to children of our surrounding community
  • as well as the children of our church.
  • Pioneer Clubs members learn through study, scripture memorization,
  • missions experiences and fun times.
  • Pioneer Clubs teaches our children cooperation instead of competition.
